Busy Weekend for Our Members
The members of UH&L Co. 33 had a busy weekend involved with various mutual aid partners from throughout the county.
On Saturday, the 14th, one of our members, FF Lucas Seighman, participated in a 2 leg – 12 miles total – relay from UH&L Station 1 (New Oxford) to UH&L Station 3 (Bonneauville) then to Gettysburg Fire Dept. This relay was run in memory of BC Josh Laird, who tragically ran his final alarm on 8/11/2021.
On Sunday, the 15th, UH&L membership participated in the procession for BC Laird into Gettysburg. Truck 33 assisted with an archway with Gettysburg’s Truck 1.
On Sunday, membership also participated in an acquired structure burn. This training burn allowed members to train on essential skills in a real-world setting.
