Company 33 Alerted to Vehicle Accident with Entrapment
Around 1730 on the evening of June 22nd, Company 33 was alerted to Box 33-301 for a vehicle accident with entrapment.
Engine 333 went enroute with 4 personnel, Rescue 33 with 3, and Assistant Chief.
Crews arrived to find a two vehicle collision with one occupant still confined to the vehicle. Engine 333 performed vehicle stabilization and started removal of the drivers door. Crews used our Amkus battery spreader and cutter to remove the door. The driver was removed and handed over to the awaiting EMS crew.
Fire Police handled traffic control at the scene.
All units returned to service without further incident.
